Papertry Ink October 2015 Blog Hop Challenge

So here I am on a Sunday night thinking to craft or not to craft. Its been a few days of interesting events. I lost my voice Thursday and Friday which made me realize just how much I like talking. Saturday was a morning of learning how to take tyres off a car with a rattle gun (not that I was actually entrusted with one… just a causal observer then enlisted to hoist tyres into the back of a car). Then childminding duties for friends on Sunday morning, a strange turn for someone with only a fur child.

Anyway, as you can tell from this post, I caved in and made a card.

Here is my take on the PTI November challenge:

I steered clear of the Christmassy vibe of the picture as I don’t really make cards for that. I used The Sweet Life set, one of my favourite sets. To frame the stamps and leaves, I die cut a big circle from lined note paper, which gave a bit of visual texture. I could (and probably should) have put in some extra green leaves, but hey, less is more.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing what everyone is making!
